Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney responded by declaring the U.S. "at war" with Canada and announcing dollar-for-dollar retaliatory tariffs on U.S. steel, dairy, appliances, agricultural equipment, pulp and paper, and electronics, effective September 8th.
