In Part Two of Two, Investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell go officer by officer through the allegations contained in the Spivey family's federal complaint against Horry County police. And through every level of the investigation, the alleged conspiracy comes sharply into focus. According to the lawsuit, the conspiracy to protect Weldon Boyd and Bradley Williams started immediately after they shot and killed Scott Spivey on Sept. 9, 2023, on an Horry County, SC, highway. And it continued through the power and influence of the now former Deputy Chief of Police Brandon Strickland, a close friend of Weldon, who allegedly directed the investigation in a direction favorable to his buddy.
