Clara Rector

About this episode

In April 2004, friends of 48-year-old Tommy Hope became concerned after not hearing from him for several days. When they went to his Camdenton, Missouri, home, they discovered Tommy brutally murdered inside. Investigators learned that Tommy’s troubled past, struggles with addiction, and complicated relationships had brought several people into his orbit who might have had reason to want him dead. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss Clara Rector. Despite numerous interviews and promising leads, the investigation eventually stalled and remained cold for nearly a decade. Then, in 2013, an unrelated stalking and harassment case produced a stunning revelation that finally gave investigators the break they had been waiting for.
