Paula Chin

About this episode

In February 2019, wealthy 65-year-old businesswoman Paula Chin disappeared from her Tribeca home and was later found murdered, her body hidden in a trash can at her New Jersey property. Investigators uncovered blood evidence, suspicious late-night trips, surveillance footage showing people moving something heavy into Paula’s car, and a trail of disturbing text messages. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss Paula Chin. As detectives dug deeper, they discovered tensions involving money, inheritance, and people within Paula’s inner circle. The evidence ultimately exposed a shocking plot involving someone very close to Paula, along with others who helped clean the crime scene and dispose of her body. The case eventually resulted in a guilty plea to second-degree murder and a sentence of 22 years to life in prison.
