About this episode
US-based Iranian-born painter Arghavan Khosravi creates worlds from opposing forces: light and darkness, presence and absence, history and the present day. In conversation with Johann König, she discusses her journey from being a graphic designer in Tehran to becoming a painter in Rhode Island, and explains why the women in her paintings never show fear.
