Dead Rabbit: 6. A Dark Web Rumour

About this episode

Dan and Lucy find a video filmed the night of the cup final, exposing that hare coursing isn’t just a game - it’s big business. Why would anyone pay tens of thousands of pounds for one dog? Chris Packham weighs in with his experience, and a police chief gives them striking new information. Buried is the multi award-winning investigative podcast series digging into some of the most disturbing environmental stories in history. In this series, reporters Dan Ashby and Lucy Taylor follow a trail left after dozens of dead animals were left in villages in the British countryside. They team up with the wildlife presenter Chris Packham, whose own dead-animal death threats escalated into a car bomb outside his house. The dead animals lead them into uncovering a criminal underworld in the British countryside. The team's previous exploration into 'forever chemicals' continues on TV in Buried with Michael Sheen.
