Episode 127: The Blair Witch Project (with 2x Bram Stoker winning author Robert P. Ottone, author of Amityville Awakens)

About this episode

I just want to make this very clear up front, this is not a cheat episode. There is an actual soundtrack for this movie, and it's supposed to be Josh's mixtape he's listening to on his headphones. I've always been fascinated by this one, and I'm excited to get to it. With that out of the way... Hey everyone! It's my favorite time of the year, Halloween! And it's time for a new slate of horror films for the show. Up first is one of my all-time favorite horror movies, THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT. And joining me is fellow Spooky Season lover, author and friend of the show Robert P. Ottone, who also counts this as one of his all-time favorite horror movies. In this episode we talk about the making-of (quite extensively), whether Heather is worthy of all of the blame, our first experiences watching this in the theater, found footage in general, and more. So give it a listen, or I'll make you stand in the corner.
