The Sweepers of Uden

About this episode

During the mid-1970s, law enforcement agencies across the world recorded an extraordinary number of reported UFO sightings, many of which would go on to capture the public imagination. Some became so deeply embedded in popular culture that the towns and cities in which they occurred remain synonymous with alleged extraterrestrial activity to this day. Yet amongst these widely publicised encounters were others that were quietly forgotten, despite involving testimony and circumstances that appeared to warrant greater attention. One such incident unfolded in a small town in the eastern Netherlands, where a series of extraordinary events would leave witnesses struggling to explain what they had encountered.
