384: CAPTIVE AUDIENCE - The Thing (1982)

About this episode

Grab the flamethrower and check on the dogs—this week we're talking about The Thing! Once again Alex and Edwin are joined by friend of the show Peter Gallagher to discuss this 1982 John Carpenter cult classic. We go through the plot points, score, characters, and signature special effects, following the film like a Norwegian helicopter follows an antarctic dog. And of course we mention all of the gigantic hats, poor research station design, and flamethrower protocol along the way. So put on your rollerskates, fire up the virtual chess, and join us for this week's episode!
