Dialectics, Vol. 3: Negation of the Negation

About this episode

New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 191 Woke thinking runs on a dialectical engine, which it inherits not just from Lenin and Marx but also from Hegel. The usual formulation for dialectical theory in Communism presents three dialectics, and the third of these is the most mysterious. It is called "the Negation of the Negation." By connecting it to Communist theory and strategy, Mao's "unity, criticism, unity" formula, and the infamous "problem, reaction, solution" dialectic, host James Lindsay brings this seemingly abstruse idea to life in this new episode of New Discourses Bullets.
